Safari Day

We reached Ramnagar Railwsy station at 4.30 AM and took a cab to reach Club Mahindra at a distance of 10 Km.  The driver was good and took us to bus stand and we naught fresh fruits and vegetables for our stay in Club resort for seven nights.

As we reached the waiting room we found two more families sitting there. A family from Mumbai was very friendly. Mr and Mrs Sanjay Dhumal with their teenage daughter had planned a short visit to Jim Corbett Park, Nainital and Delhi Agra. So we decided to share the Jeep Safari next morning

It was our aim to look at these ferocious Bengal tigers which are about 300+ in the Jim Cabrett Reserve Park

We set for the goal early in the morning from Bijlani Gate at 6.00 AM from Club Mahindra. About 30 Gypsies each  are allowed to enter at dawn and in the afternoon making it two daily trips of Jeep Safari. You can also enjoy Elephant Safari which has the advantages of moving in side the big grass and very near to the tiger but is far slower than the Jeep Safari.

Wow! It is flobargvastimg!

The Government Guest House just when the deep journey starts, this is the point where you can use public bath rooms pretty neat and clean for a change.

As we see the pub marks and felt that the tiger had just passed this area. The driver Usman Ahmad was confident that the tiger was near by and we had a good chance to sight one. He also told that now a days there was a tigress who was moving along with her three Cubs. The Cubs are however look bigger than the mother.

But the luck was not our side even with his shoot driving, we could not sight any tiger. We were left with no other option but to leave the Park as it was 10.00 am and our allocated time was over.

May be next time, we shall be lucky.
