After a fantastic visit to Lurae Cavers in Virginia, we were led to Kapil and Raman dwelling places just near by. It was difficult to decide dinner and snack slots available to us. As Kapil and Raman are very affectionate, loving and highly respectful and both wanted to spend maximum time with us. So I requested Inderpal Bakshi and Surjit to solve this tangle. So finally the toss went to Kapil and Kiran for snacks and Dinner to Raman and Avneet.
I know both Kapil and Raman since their toddler days. In fact I vividly remember Raman and Shiv appeared for the School entering Interview on the same date and time, Both cleared and were successful to join Delhi Public School, East Of Kailash a feeder elementary school for Delhi Public School, RK Puram. Kapil being senior was already in.
Raman's Dad Mr IPS Bakshi was a high flying top executive with IBM/CMC. During one of the school new years I was standing in the que for buying books and other required material for Shiv. His Dad was glad to find me there and he requested me to take care of Raman in case he needs any help and himself proceeded to catch the flight. But Raman was smart enough to handle his own affairs himself well and he never bothered me for any assistance.
Both the families of Kapil and Raman fed us to our noses with numerous dishes, Golgappas were the king of snacks with Kiran, while Saag was the counter King in the Avneet's dinner. The kids made us fade away the tiredness. I am so much enthralled by the harmony in the family although living in separate units due to typical requirement of Western world.
Both Kapil and Raman continue to be highly professional couples overpowering the tough competitive world and in the same vigour teach their kids true family and cultural values of the east.
We pray that Bakshi family may continue to stay blessed and keep abreast!
