Gaurav and his lovely wife Connie had specially arranged a High Tea at 'The Garden Court' at this grand Palace Hotel, San Francisco for celebrating Gaurav Mom's surprise Birthday Party.

This historic landmark serves breakfast and lunch daily and an enchanting brunch and afternoon tea on weekends. The Garden Court features a stained glass dome, Italian marble columns, Austrian crystal chandeliers and is noted on San Francisco’s Historic Register as Landmark #18.

The stunning, historic space in the center serves one of the most expensive tea services in the City (a whopping Dollar fig per person), but it's hard to beat the opulent, chandelier-decked space, which feels like a trip back in time. However, this tea is only offered Saturdays from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Conney did a splendid job in managing and inviting friends and relations from far and near. Connie worked very hard to go to minute details for making this vibrant party a success. Baljit Bhenji's brother came all the way from Canada to add surprise. Another cousin Harjit and his wife from LA parked himself along with his wife one day earlier.
The party was virtually kept a surprise which made Baljit to cry abruptly with tears of joy by the overwhelming affection shown by the near and dear. She certainly is a very popular person as spelled out by her brother in his short speech to honor her sister.
Shiv, Shilpy and their kids Gobind, Jania and Geet could not make it as they were too occupied in Final of International Kirtan Competition by Hemkunt Sahib Foundation. Shiv has an Annual commitment to oversee and judge the competition which he has been doing so religiously for last 11 years.
Shiv and Shilpy had conveyed their verbal Birthday wishes and explained their absence to Connie.
It was one of the best outings on my own Birthday today the July 29th. Kudos to Bikram, Gaurav, Connie and their family for celebrating their mom Baljit's 70th Birthday. What a get together of fifty persons sumptuously enjoying a birthday party of one of their own in a lavish style!
