It was historic as well as magnificent. All round efforts planned and executed superbly by Hardeep and Jasleen.
The whole mansion was filled with summer peach and some sprinkling of Gold. I had the privilege of taking some rare historic pictures including Hardeep’s Family. His Dad, even with his medical conditions was found joking on the joyous function. A big Dhir Family contingent celebrating what they celebrate the best. Ambu Bhenji, the Nani-Ma doing her job perfectly helping Saheb Nihal with Guru-Wakk. She blessed Saheb to iniate the SGGS reading for the first time (Charnee Lagna). Amritpal Ji bestowing his wise words meticulously.
Actual Dastar Bandhi was performed by Mamas Raju and Shivi with a hand from Hardeep himself. Hardeep narrated how his own Dad inculcated the seed of Sikhism to him and his siblings. Sapna proved the same point in her well done speech. Mrs Mohinder Gulati the Dadi-Ma with her well knit family of Inder, Hardeep and Sapna was overwhelmingly feeling thrilled. The celebrations were brief and to the point. A well designed and chalked out program.
Little Heer, unaware of such a rush in her domain, continued to struck to Leena’s lap. Usually a happy and bubbly baby, Heer was a bit insecure by invasion of flood of people surrounding her Veers Nihal and Saheb.
The flute accompanying Bhai Tajvinder Singh Ji made Bhai Sahib speak high of Rajesh Prasanna. Shivi appropriately sang a Shabad ‘Khoob Teri Pagri’.
Rajesh Prasanna also performed Bollywood songs and entertained the guest who were mesmerized by his out of world performance.
The icing on the cake was beautiful Bhangra performance by professionals followed by hectic dancing by young and old alike on DJ.
Hardeep thanked All the guests who decorated the celebrations by coming all the way from East Coast, Bay Area and India.
The event manager did a superb job.
