Jania learns the 'Art of Chapati Making' from Grandma

Jania did a fantastic job of making chapaties as a Rookie. Her hands and body language was perfectly tuned to this delicate art of cooking. As it is well known that making round Chapaties in perfect circular shape is hard to achieve. It takes a lot of effort, dedication and time to learn tasty Chapati making.

Here is Jania learning for the first time this great, conventional and essential art in our culture for a woman or for that matter any man who has to survive eating a healthy and vegetarian Indian Food.

She is trying to roll the floor and finds a hurdle as it overlaps on itself

She is able to fix it and gives a perfect round shape.

Putting on the hot plate and baking comes the next.

She is able to change the face of Chapati to bake the other side.

Carefully observing when to tilt the face of Chapati for the next chapati

Trying to turn up side down, the chapati slips to the other side of the hot plate.

Her eyes and her arms are coordinated and focussed on the developing Chapati. She is trying to control the steam within  and balloon the chapati. We regret that a ballooned Chapati could not be pictured.

it was a fantastic lunch with hot and perfectly cooked Chapaties by our little Chef who I am sure shall go great guns in life as she has a very cool and focused control on her hands and brain. We wish her good luck in future life.
