How Nihal misses Gobind

Summer Vacations have been typical for Gobind & Jania as there are no schedule trips to vacation parks this year. Nor there is any usual trip to India. All of us have stuck to our home during the summer.

But above all, God has blessed them with a sibling Geet. They are dancing and playing around her day in and day out. Besides lot of friends and relations have been dropping in to meet Geet and Shilpy.

My niece Jasleen's husband Hardeep presently in Gainesviley, Florida, planned an urgent trip to Bay Area in connection with his job. He offered his older son Nihal also to accompany him so that he can meet his buddy Gobind. Nihal was thrilled to top of the world to get this glorious opportunity.

The news initiated flashes of facetime exchanges between Florida and California. Gobind was too curious and excited to see virtual Nihal ready for their famous hug in Shrwood Ct. The bond between Gobind and Nihal had been very strong right from the days they were toddlers. The bondness has been ever on the increase. Sometimes we feel that they had some special bond connection even in their previous birth.

When it was all set to leave for San Francisco, Hardeep got some urgent official emergency to cancel the trip. This caused tremendous disappointment between the two families. Gobind and Nihal were almost crying but resorted to long FaceTime communications.

The irony was that finally Hardeep had to make a trip alone. This made Gobind and Nihal very sad. Today I checked up with my niece Jasleen, how was Nihal copping up with such a  situation. She gave me a very startling message. Nihal was so much frustrated that he resorted to take computer help. He went to Google and searched for Sherwood Ct and took a virtual flight from Gainsville systematically mapping the route and going along with it to San Ramon. He consistently gazed at Sherwood Ct if he could see his best friend and Cousin Gobind playing in his backyard. Poor Nihal could see the backyard of Gobind's house, but could not see Gobind.

I am just astonished to learn how this small kid Nihal is missing his cousin sitting at a distance of 3000 miles. He is  trying to make up his helplessness in his own way. He got an amazing solution to cool down his frustration. Who knows Nihal may think upon a solution to feel his buddy realtime and give him a feeling of a distant tight hug to him in the very near future.

Nihal has shown exemplary thoughtfulness to find solution above. He is proving to be a Wizard kid. I am sure he will continue to use his similar sharp brain in a positive way in his life.
