When my cousin Swaran and nieces Anju, Shimalya and Neha came running to meet us on a flash notice. The above six are offshoots of all four well knitted sisters. Two hours flew away like few seconds while talking vividly about moms and grand-moms.

'Gutt Gundhaee'

We attended 'Gutt Gundhaee' ceremony attended yesterday. It was first time that we attended such a function.

Here is Grandma Mrs Anand helping to perform with the blessings of the priest who did performed very melodious and powerful Kirtan after the Sukhmani Sahib was recieted by the Sangat. A grand dinner was served.

Mr and Mrs Anand are living together with their two married sons in San Francisco Bay Area. Mrs Anand picked  her two daughter in laws, real sisters and daughters of her own sister in India. Mrs Anand wanted to help her not so well doing sister in Delhi. No dowry, and no lavish expenses.

I had a great desire to see this Mrs Anand family who is a fellow kitty member with Harvinder. I am very glad to see this family enjoying and praying together in unison. Both the daughters in-law are very beautiful and decent looking and seem to enjoy their family life in harmony.

Super Geet Wins A Gold Medal

Like any other day, Geet opens our bed room door to wish us Good Morning Sat Sri Akal and stands in the door frame only. She smilingly announces that yesterday she had won a Gold medal in a community race for small kids.

She was fully aware that the Grandpa and Gama (Grandma) were busy attending a wedding in the community and could not break the news of her winning the gold medal. She immediately retraced back to her room and reappears after a few minutes.

She was now dressed in a winner gown with a gold medal hanging arround her neck. And for me it was an early morning opportunity for a photo shoot.
