Forty years ago, a beautiful doll was born to my sister Amarjeet and Amrit Pal Singh Dhir at Nagpur. We named her Jasleen and lovingly called her Leena. She rose to be very intelligent, hardworking and smart women. Being the only child of her parents was very closely knitted to another only child and her first cousin in Shivi. So they were raised like twins. Both were very studious, while Shivi went to one of the top schools in DPS R K Puram, Leena went to Carmel Convent New Delhi a top Girls school in New Delhi. And both topped in their respective high schools.

Shiv was destined to go to US and proceeded his studies inUC Berkeely, Leena did her undergraduate from Country's top college in Lady Sri Ram College. Being a little younger, she strictly followed her brother.

As was to follow, she got married to her life mate and joined Hardeep in New Jercey USA. Only after a few months, Hardeep got placed in Bay Area and moved into an apartment near our place. So they continued to stay together. Her Rakhi ritual has remain unabated since child hood.
Jasleen is now raising her family with three kids who are again a great company to Shivi's three kids.
