This is the very pleasant and sweet face of my mother, silent, patient, and graceful as always. In this moment, she is patiently waiting for her turn to place a garland around the newlyweds ie me and Harvinder on our wedding day, 9th September 1972.
Her happiness that day was truly on cloud nine. There was a special glow on her face, filled with pride, love, and blessings for her son beginning a new journey in life.
Looking back today, this photograph has become much more than a picture. It captures the tenderness of a mother’s heart, her quiet joy, her dignity, and the warmth with which she blessed us on one of the most important days of our lives.
