A Mexican dinner at 'On The Border Mexcani Grill and Cantina'. We had sumptuous fillings of Chips, Salsa, Guacamole, Enchiladas, corn and Flour Fajitas and Grilled Veggies with Black Beans, Cream etc. Gobind wished to have Enchiladas and he had a full.

To celebrate this great occasion, A Kirtan was arranged on the following weekend on Saturday the 10th Aug. Shilpy and Harvinder had managed to invite all near and dear well in advance to attend the function at our Sherwood Ct home. Nearly 170 persons attended which included significant number of kids of Gobind's and Jania's age.

Hazuri Ragi Harimander Sahib Amritsar, Bhai Tajvinder Singh Ji has been in the Bay Area for a while on leave. Bhai Sahib has in mean time successfully completed his Batchulars in Ethnic Studies from California State University, Sacramento. On a special request from Shiv, Bhai Sahib graced the occasion to render melodious Gurbani Kirtan on this day. Believe me the Sherwood court home got a little bit reflection of glimpses and vibes of ambience at Sri Darbar Singh Sahib itself. Bhai Tajvinder Singh Ji is a role model for many young Sikhs in general but western Sikh Community in particular.
