My Dad’s father was Lala Bhagwan Das, Supdt in District Commissioner office Multan and his older brother Lala Sham Das was a Tehsildar of city Loyalpur under whose leader ship the new city was developed. The reason of our having huge estate in that city.
Lala Sham Das had donated the Marble Palki at Panja Sahib and still his name is written as ‘Das Sham Das’
So this is our family history.
BTW your grandfather started his govt job as PA to DIG, CID Multan.
