Worlds Tallest Thermometer

The Mojave Desert is famous for having the hottest air temperature and surface temperature recorded on earth and the lowest elevation of 282 ft below Sea Level nin North America. 

Today on Oct 24 2021,  as we passed by the famous Mojave Desert, the famous Worlds tallest Thermometer showing temp reading of 80 degree F at 2.46 PM.

The World's Tallest Thermometer is a landmark in Baker, California, US. It is a steel electric sign that commemorates the weather record of 134 °F recorded in nearby Death Valley on July 10, 1913.

The sign weighs 76,812 pounds and is held together by 125 cubic yards of concrete. It stands 134 feet tall and is capable of displaying a maximum temperature of 134 °F, both of which are a reference to the temperature record.
