Shivpreet in Def Col Gurdwara Sahib on Mar 9, 2024

On the eve of his 49th birthday, Shivpreet, having just landed in New Delhi after a grueling 17-hour journey from San Francisco, performed at the Shri Guru Singh Sabha Gurdwara Sahib in Defence Colony.

Despite the fatigue of travel, Shivpreet was determined to share his musical talent with the Sangat (congregation).

The atmosphere at the Gurdwara was electric as Sangat from near and far filled every inch of the hall, eagerly anticipating Shivpreet's performance.

Ambu Bhenji getting struck due to traffic, had to be accommodated outside the Diwan Hall

As Shivpreet took to the stage, the audience was captivated by his soulful renditions, which resonated with the spiritual ambiance of the Gurdwara.

Such was the turnout that some attendees had to be accommodated outside in the verandah due to overcrowding.

Controlling the tots became arduous as Tipi Bhenji is seen trying to control tiny Suchet with eye gestures.

His performance was not only memorable but also deeply moving, touching the hearts of all those present. In light of the unexpected large turnout, the Guru ka Langar (community kitchen) had to be supplemented by cooking extra meals to ensure that every member of the Sangat was well-fed and taken care of.

Shivpreet being honored by the President of Gurdwara Sahib.

This act of generosity and hospitality exemplified the spirit of seva (selfless service) central to the Sikh faith, further enriching the experience for everyone involved.
