Our youngest family member, Geet Kapoor, made her first-ever effort in the kitchen today, she baked brownies completely from scratch!
After collecting all the ingredients, she suddenly discovered there were no eggs in the house. In a little panic, she immediately called Dadima for help. Equally excited about Geet’s first baking adventure, Grandma dropped everything, rushed to the nearby grocery store, and brought the eggs.
Geet carefully mixed all the ingredients and prepared the brownie for baking. When it was ready, Dadima helped take the hot tray safely out of the oven and made sure it was perfectly baked.
Then came the most important part, the tasting! Geet proudly brought me a piece, and it was absolutely delicious. The whole family enjoyed it, but I think we enjoyed her excitement and accomplishment even more.
Well done, Geet! A sweet beginning to many more adventures in the kitchen. Keep baking and keep surprising us!
