We decided to enjoy Harvinder' birthday evening by going to Regal Cinemas and enjoying this awesome movie "The Hundred-Foot Journey". Shilpy's parents Major General Harkirat Singh and Baljit who are visiting us to celebrate the birth of our cutie Geet Kapoor were part of the celebrating party.
A lightly-cooked feel-good culture-clash comedy!
“The Hundred-Foot Journey” is a reasonably tastefully presented movie. It's fine cast and scenic environments add spice to the whole drama. Escaping political turmoil in India, the Kadam family moves to a small town in France and starts a restaurant. However, they immediately run afoul of Madame Mallory (Helen Mirren) who mis awesome playing a foul to Kadam family restaurant just across her Classic French cuisine. She eventually discovers that she has more in common with her new neighbors than she initially suspected? A good movie to enjoy with family.
Om Puri and an American Desi manish Dayal impressed with their performances.
The evening had a grand finish with a dinner at On the Border Mexican Grill & Cantina
