On My Way to Badbar Mar 2025

This time, on my trip to India, I had decided to make one more attempt at marking the boundaries of my lands in our village, Badbar, Punjab. Given the history of disputes with surrounding landowners over my Nehri and Barani lands, I sought the support of a close friend of Shivpreet who is an IPS officer. His backing gave me the confidence to move forward, knowing I had strong support in case of any issues.

Just started the journey.

With everything set, Harvinder and I left Delhi early on Feb 28th morning, heading towards Punjab. We hired a comfortable 7-seater SUV and took the new route via Jind to Khanori.

The drive was smooth and flawless—just open roads and clear signage, with no stops, not even for tea or restrooms.

However, once we hit the stretch from Kanori to Patram, the road conditions worsened. Despite that, we finally reached Badbar in the afternoon.

I had already informed Pawan and his assistant, Jasvir about our arrival, and as expected, Jasvir was right on time waiting for us . Thanks this modern communication tools, this is all possible. He ensured that everything was in order—he cleared the way for us and had the house meticulously cleaned and ready for our stay.

The stairs have been supported by chrome plated railing has been fixed a few months back. I found it attractive.

It was a relief to step into a neat and well-prepared space. We quickly settled in, knowing we had a long few days
