Visit to Bangla Sahib

A visit to Bangla Sahib reversed my life to + thirty years back when Shivi was always with us on our routine visits to Bangla Sahib in late 1970s. It brought back nostalgic memories!

As a toddler he will jump to grab the duty of serving 'Amrit' to Sangat while we shall go to have a round of Sarover. Even on severe Delhi Cold weather, he would love to participate.

When Shivi entered in his teens, on one of our visits, one self appointed policeman of Gurudwara held him by hand and gave hima a big lecture to wear a turban when attending a Gurdwara. Thereafter,  I remember he was always scared to accompany us to Bangla Sahib Gurdwara. I almost lost my temper to confront that old early man.
