Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, while compiling and putting together the whole Gurbani in the shape of Adi Granth, incorporated an interface in the shape of his own verses while combining two different Banis of houses to join them together. Hence the whole Bani comes out One in continuity as if narrated by One person while remaining with in the principles of Sikhism. For example all Banis of Bhagats like Kabir ji and Farid ji were not included. The Banis of various Gurus, Bhagats, Sufis, Gursikhs and Bhatt’s were thoroughly researched, studied and analyzed before merging them as part of Adi Granth.
