It is for the sake of knoweledge and information to let my grand kids know how difficult it was to do farming. Getting water was one of the most difficult besides facing other nature calamities like floods, rains and at times severe droughts.
I have collected some videos below to explain how the water was pumped from the ground when there was nor Electric Power at all.
