Alphonso mangoes, also known as Hapus, are a premium variety native to India. They are known for their rich, sweet, and aromatic taste. Alphonso mangoes have a smooth, buttery texture and vibrant orange-yellow flesh. They are often considered the most superior and sought-after mango variety.

In addition to Alphonso mangoes, there are several other popular mango cultivars. Some notable ones include Saffeda, Dussehra, Lngra, Kalmi, Kesri,  Tommy Atkins, Kent, Keitt, Ataulfo and numerous other varieties. Each of these varieties has its own unique characteristics in terms of taste, texture, and appearance.

Mangoes are typically in season during the summer months, with variations depending on the specific cultivar and region. They are not only delicious but also packed with essential nutrients such as vitamin C, vitamin A, fiber, and antioxidants.

Mangoes can be enjoyed in various ways, such as eating them fresh, making smoothies, blending them into sorbets, or incorporating them into salads, salsas, and chutneys. They are a versatile fruit that adds a tropical flair to many dishes and desserts.

Whether it's the Alphonso mangoes you relished or any other variety, enjoying the sweet, juicy taste of mangoes is truly a delightful experience.
