Harvinder Grabs First Job in USA

It's great to recall that Harvinder found a job after extensive search after going from pillar to post in the city of San Jose USA, the capital of Silicon Valley. It provided relief, especially with the medical insurance for our family including my sick Dad. It seems like the concept of family definition might differ between India and the USA, which can indeed be surprising to old settlers.

It was a Disc Polish Operator job @ 6 Dollars an hour. Unaccustomed to standing on foot all day for 12 hrs was very hard on her. Her feet swelled and felt dead tired in the evening.

It's truly inspiring to see how our hunger for success led us both to establish a diverse range of businesses, from Convenience Stores, to Hardware wholesale, to Software Consulting, to Private Equity and even Real Estate. The achievements of our son Shiv, being declared Valedictorian at Silver Creek High School San Jose and gaining admission to the University of California, Berkeley, demonstrate a strong legacy of determination and excellence in your family.

Today our son Shiv is an inspiring Serial Entrepreneur in Developing and Marketting Oncology drugs, Consulting and Healthcare Investment Banking. Shiv is also into philanthropy and has founded a Non Profit foundation to help the Art and Artists. His wife Shilpy is ably supporting the family while working in high-tech management job.

I showed great dedication in supporting Harvinder through the job search process, including providing transportation. The loaned Mercedes from her parents was a valuable resource. It's wonderful to see her dreams turning into reality.

It's heartening that the friendships we made during that time have stood the test of time. Our paths, though diverged, as we ventured into business and career opportunities, ultimately achieving significant success together with Harvinder's remarkable growth alongside me.
