How Shiv was named?

A Hindu holy man rubs ashe on his hands at Pashupatinath Temple,  Kathmandu -2014.

Our son Shiv was born in Kathmandu on Shivratri night.

And when as per Guru Granth Sahib, the first word also coincided, His name was confirmed as Shivpreet Singh.
